ROTFL…

The Akismet Spam plug-in for Wordpress righteously kicks ASS.

In the previous incarnation of the Brown Sludge Blog, I moderated the comments here by hand, and i had to hand delete an average of 20-30 spam posts a day. That was a lot of work.

Now the Akismet plug-in stands guard at the gates of my comments database and when the bots try to spam my blog with casino/peener enlargement/illegal drugs/corporate spam, Askimet gleefully frog-marches them to the trash bin and kicks their little monkey-asses right in. Then it gives them the one-finger salute and slams the lid.

I figured I’d get tired of laughing while I watched this after a while… but… no luck yet.

I still get a big belly laugh every single time.

Good lard it’s fun to watch.
