LOL... well put as usual Dwight.

I guess I get on a high horse about Ayn Rand a bit. I've studied her at length and it bothers me when I see what I consider her true message about the individual as a hero perverted by corporate apologists.

But... you're right of course, and free to take whatever message you choose from her as I and countless others have.

Well, on behalf of this humble Libertarian, let me posit the following:

1. I don't have an ounce of empathy for these guys. THESE GUYS are the a-holes who undermine the whole concept of free-markets by not playing by the rules... Few as those rules are.

I would be surprised if even our Patron Saint (St. John of Stossell) sticks up for Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

Same for the big oil execs. They are screwing it up for those of us who are just counting the days until some regulating do-gooder finishes with their anti-smoking campaign and starts working toward forcing me to wear a helmet inside my car.

I was very sad to see St. John take up for big oil. Free Markets only work when everyone has access to the launching pad. Big Oil seems to have locked the door behind them. That game is rigged, if you'll pardon the pun.

2. I don't wear a tin foil hat. What's the matter with you, Mac? TIN FOIL? Man they haven't manufactured tin foil in 20 years! My hat is made of ALUMINUM foil. Resplendant with my pimp feather it is both stylish and effective at keeping out the barrage of electromagnetic waves that the government propogates to boost our dependance on their own regulation of said electromagnetic imperialism.

3. Ayn Rand rules. You don't own the rights to Ayn Rand's message. I'll take whatever lessons I choose to interpret from that crazy Russian be-yatch.
